Trump's bluster suggests rushed NAFTA talks concluding by April 2018
By yesterday evening, U.S. President Donald Trump pulled back from his comment made earlier in the day that he would issue an executive order to withdraw the United States from NAFTA. But yesterday's bluster suggests that negotiations could begin this August and be concluded by April 2018.
“What they found when testing the water [in the 1990s] was that some of the wells had high uranium content. You’re not to use that water to drink,” [Chief Jean-Guy Whiteduck of Kitigan Zibi] told me.
Chilliwack chapter encourages Kinder Morgan pipeline route change submissions to the NEB before May 7

Time for the Museum of History to end its partnership with the oil lobby
Earlier this week I had a chance to accompany our friends at 350.org and many local activists to to the AGM of the Canadian Museum of History where we protested the partnership that the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) has with the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau, right across the river from Parliament.
