May Day: Demand freedom for jailed trade union leaders in Turkey and Kazakhstan

First of all, happy May Day! This is our day, and I hope you, your fellow workers, and your families all take time to celebrate.
But we must also remember today, especially today, our brothers and sisters who are in jail -- workers whose only crime was doing their job as trade unionists.
Please take one minute today to support the 14 Turkish trade union leaders facing jail on politically-motivated charges dating back to 2007:

And don't forget the leaders of Kazakhstan's independent oil workers, arrested more than three months ago and facing terms in "corrective labour camps":
