PAOV,
The Yulin dog meat festival starts today. Sadly, earlier reports of a temporary ban on dog meat may not come to be a reality. Trusted sources on the ground say officials are denying there ever was a ban, and that dog meat is available for sale in the markets.
Clearly, there is much more work to be done, and we know you will fight for as long as it takes. Whether it’s the Yulin dog meat festival, or other injustices, you are instrumental in the fight to protect defenseless animals. Today, we need your help to ensure that fight continues.
Tools and resources used by millions of animal activists on Change.org are funded, in part, through generous contributions to the our Animal Protection Membership program.
To do more, we need support from compassionate people like you. Will you consider making a monthly contribution of just $7.50 (or more) to help Change.org continue to be a platform for animal advocacy?
As a member, you can help fund the creation of new resources including the “After Yulin” video — where we’ll bring together experts and activists to discuss the behind-the-scenes details of the Yulin dog meat festival, the campaign to end it, and what needs to happen next. But this video and others like it are made possible only when we have the financial support of people like you.
Please join our Animal Protection membership program to support animal activism inspired by the defenseless dogs in Yulin and other furry friends around the world.
Thank you for your support.
