Students at Ontario’s 24 public colleges believe they are not getting the education they are paying for. Earlier this week, faculty members at the colleges decided to strike after contract negotiations with their employers failed. This decision has left classes canceled indefinitely for 500,000 students.
A group of Ontario college students feel they are being penalized by the strike. In response, they started a petition demanding a tuition refund for every day of missed classes. They believe that all affected students should be reimbursed for the money they’ve paid to receive an education from these schools. More than 67,000 people have signed the petition.r0 · /> · Privacy policy
