The Council of Canadians protested outside the G7 finance ministers summit in Whistler last weekend.
Maude Barlow has tweeted, "In Thessaloniki Greece today for a ceremony as this city becomes the first... in Greece to become a Blue Community, pledging to protect water as a human right and public trust!"
Blue Planet Project founder Maude Barlow is now at the 'Toward a Greener Attica – Preserving the Planet and Protecting its People' international ecological symposium in Athens, Greece, where Bartholomew I has just spoken.
Thirty-one Council of Canadians chapters took part in actions across the country today in opposition to the Trudeau government's plan to spend billions of dollars to buy and expand the Kinder Morgan Trans Mountain pipeline.
