Please join us on Sunday, June 24 at 1PM for a free screening of Sin Miedo (Fearless) at the CinematequeCoDev and the Vancouver Latin American Cultural Centre are proud to present the BC premier of “Fearless,” a new film about the work of Guatemalan families to bring to justice those responsible for the forced disappearance, torture and murder of 183 Guatemalans included in a “military diary” leaked to human rights organizations in 1999. The making of this film was part of the reparations demanded of the Guatemalan State by the families of the disappeared. The film is followed by a Q&A with Paolo Estrada of the Children of the Disappeared (H.I.J.O.s – Guatemala) and one of the protagonists of “Fearless.”
