Change, but be yourself now r1 ...

Hi there,

In case you missed it — we’ve rebranded! DeSmog Canada has evolved and relaunched as The Narwhal. If you haven’t poked around our new digs, please do.

It has been absolutely astounding to hear from so many of you about our new look, fresh new website and new additions to our board and editorial team.

Hokey doodles. It feels like a whole new world.

Thanks for celebrating with us and reminding us just how much of an appetite Canadians have for independent journalism across this beautiful country.

You are our purpose and inspiration.

But we know you’re not just here for our looks. You want the goods!

Well you are in luck. In preparation for our launch we’ve been working day and night behind the scenes to bring you the original, in-depth reporting you’ve come to know us and our team of reporters for.

We have an incredible lineup this week that will take you to abandoned places, wild spaces and right to the point (get it?!) of today’s wily news cycle.

With excitement and gratitude,
Emma Gilchrist, Editor-in-Chief, The Narwhal
