Dear Paov,
We're so close I can almost taste the neonic-free vegetables.

Health Canada has just announced their proposal to ban two bee-killing pesticides! Yes, you read that right. After years of your help in advocating against neonicotinoid pesticides (neonics), our efforts have finally paid off. But there’s a catch...
While we fully support the ban, the phase-out would take 5 years to complete. That’s risking a lot for the endangered rusty-patched bumblebee and gypsy cuckoo bumblebee. For the sake of all our at-risk bees, we need this ban as soon as possible!
One more action is needed. Health Canada is asking the public whether or not they support the ban. We need every bee lover to show support for the ban. Let’s do it not only for the bees but also the hundreds of other critters impacted by these toxic pesticides.
Let the government know that you support the ban but five years is way too long.
