Dear Paov,
We would love to blame technology. We even thought about blaming Joe, our Co-Executive Director. But it turns out to err is human and that is what we did.
On Thursday you received our year-end email to thank you for your support, offer you a GIFt, and ask you to consider making a donation before the end of the year.
For those who already donated, thank you so much!
When we put that email together we entered a database code |*Fname*| – short for “first name” – incorrectly into the subject line!
To double the heartbreak, we had designed for you a special “GIFt” – a moving scene with a link to the complete holiday video we made for you:
But we forgot to shake the snowglobe and ended up sending you a still image instead!We’re sorry! We didn’t mean to be so confusing.
It means a lot that you stick with us – even when things don’t go our way. And we hope after that last email, you will continue to support us so we can navigate the wild waters ahead.
