Dear Friends,
Our Victoria Friends of Cuba committee is calling on all social activist people and groups to come together for an Activist Social Potluck in celebrating the 55th year of the Cuban Revolution's victory. This will take place at 5pm Saturday, Jan. 25 in the Spencer Castle at 2906 Cook St.
Beside sharing some of our potluck food and listen to some music performance from some of our local musicians we are also asking the invited organizations to say a couple words in a few minutes to announce what campaigns... they are or will be working on. This will give us all a chance to be aware of what activities may take place in our community in this new year as we try to change our world.
Would you and members of your committee be able to join us in sharing some food, listen to some tunes and one of you say a few words as to what actions your group may be involved in this new year at this event?
