BC Public Safety Minister Bill Blair told the media today that RCMP are willing to "stand down" so dialogue can begin without speaking directly to the Hereditary Chiefs about the matter. RCMP harassment and intimidation has continued with full force since the raids and they have not made any actual movement towards leaving the territory.
Unist'ot'en is calling for supporters to come out to the front line. People who can stay at least two weeks and can take direction from Indigenous leadership are needed. Supporters who have never been to camp before are welcome.
