BCSEA Celebrates Earth Day, Wednesday, April 22, 2020
On the 50th Anniversary of Earth Day, we see a clearer sky, empty roads and a substantial decrease in carbon emissions. The irony that this environmental bliss is a result of a pandemic, of human impact on biodiverse areas and wildlife habitats, does not escape us.
Earth Day is a reminder that everything we do as the BCSEA is under the idea that we do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors, but that we borrow it from our children. We hope you are staying safe and healthy as you reflect on the beauty and wonder of our natural world.
