Dear Friend,

I hope you are well.

During these extraordinary times, I have been volunteering with a new not-for-profit organization, the Red Cedar Café, providing free, healthy meals to people in need in our community.

During our first three weeks of operations, we have distributed more than 1,200 meals to community members, including senior citizens, low-income people and people in self-isolation. The Red Cedar Café adheres strictly to public health guidelines in the preparation, serving and delivery of healthy food to community members.

I am writing to ask if you are in need of free, healthy meals. Our volunteer delivery drivers distribute prepared frozen meals to homes through the city and region every Thursday and Sunday. Please do not hesitate to place a meal order if you could use some healthy food, via this online form:
