Hi Paov,
Argonaut Creek is undoubtedly a cherished place. Because of public pressure the BC government announced they would immediately halt the construction of 11 cutblocks, or 276 hectares, of caribou critical habitat in Argonaut Creek.
Yet, there are 63 hectares of old-growth forest still on the chopping block. These three cutblocks are still on track for demolition and one is in critical habitat.

Public outcry against recent logging plans to destroy old-growth caribou habitat came like a tidal wave. Proving that grassroots movements to protect wildlife packs a powerful punch. Join us in sending a message to the BC minister of forests asking her to tie a bow on Argonaut Creek. Ask her to cancel the remaining cutblocks and permanently protect the area.
