This week’s stark report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has landed with a boom, and frankly, the news isn’t good.
It’s been called a “Code Red for humanity” and a final warning to get on track to eliminate carbon emissions. The gulf between what science says is required to stave off the worst-case-scenario climate change projections and what our governments seem prepared to do is so wide, it can be tough to remain hopeful.
But action is the antidote to despair. This is the perfect time to join the movement for post-carbon communities that no longer rely on fossil fuels!
This is more than another online petition. When you sign, we’ll invite you to help make your town or city a post-carbon community. Using a series of tools we'll send to you over the coming weeks, you’ll push your local leaders to find bold yet tangible ways to eliminate carbon pollution.
