School’s just started and Horgan’s already failing old-growth
Hi Paov,
It’s been one year since BC promised action to protect endangered old-growth. That’s a lot of time to get stuff done!
Sadly, that isn’t the case. Logging continues in almost all of these at-risk ancient forests.
That’s why we issued the BC government a second report card on their old-growth promises — and another failing grade.

We’ve seen pitifully little concrete action to protect threatened old-growth. And ecosystems and communities are paying the price for the government’s heel-dragging.Join the movement to hold the government accountable for its old-growth promises. Join the movement! Promises to do better are fine. But the only score that matters is the one kept in the woods. And when it comes to actually protecting old-growth forests in BC, the provincial government is failing.
Let’s make sure its failure doesn’t result in old-growth forests being lost forever.
