Hi Paov,
When the provincial government’s climate plan, CleanBC, was released three years ago, it left a major gap to meeting its 2030 target of 40 per cent fewer emissions than 2005. Now, a year late, the province is finally working on how it will get the rest of the way. After a devastating summer of heatwaves and wildfires, it’s not a moment too soon.
Now is our chance to not only meet this climate goal — but strengthen it.

Things have changed since 2018. Scientists made it clear how quickly and drastically we need to move. That’s why we worked with our allies across sectors to develop 10 actions the BC NDP government needs to take right now to bring us back in line with the best science. These are realistic, necessary measures that reflect the urgency of the climate crisis.
