Hi Paov,
Despite strong, widespread and ongoing public support for preserving the Argenta Face Forest, Cooper Creek Cedar Ltd. has begun its logging operation in the 6,200-hectare endangered wilderness area. Trees are falling fast.
I strongly believe that if we work together — this logging can be stopped and the spectacularly beautiful forest that graces the north end of Kootenay Lake can be preserved. The region is within the unceded territory of the Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, Sinixt and Syilx nations.
Will you help the people of the West Kootenay get the logging stopped in the beloved Argenta Face Forest by writing your letter today to Premier John Horgan and elected representatives?
People who live in this part of the West Kootenay are doing everything they can to put an end to the habitat destruction as soon as possible before even more damage is done.
