This week we named our picks for BC’s “Dirty 30,” the people we believe are working in the interests of big polluters and holding back climate action.
When you work day in and day out to push governments to tackle the climate emergency, you get a pretty good sense of who is doing the opposite.
It’s important to shine light in these dark places, especially as the province gets a new premier and an opportunity to abandon its plans for liquefied natural gas (LNG).
A handful of well-connected players are preventing the province from going “all-in” on eliminating climate pollution. Check out the Dirty 30, share it with your friends and followers, and then use our Twitter tool to call on BC’s next premier to shut the door on fossil fuel lobbyists.

Gas lobbyists often meet with the provincial government several times a day. But we have people power on our side. By exposing the ways the fossil fuel industry uses its influence to delay climate action, we can show our leaders the public expects better.Fracking companies and LNG proponents should not be making climate policies. Let’s put a stop to it.
