A reminder that all BCHC members are invited to attend the 2022 BC Health Coalition Annual General Meeting next week, to be held virtually on Wednesday, November 30 from 1pm to 3:30pm.

As well - closer to the meeting date we will be sending out meeting materials including our 2021 Financial Statement as well as our 2022 Annual Report. At our AGM, you will hear about the work of the BCHC over the last year. We have accomplished quite a bit from seniors care to anti-privatization to drug policy! Most importantly, we continued to build a coalition across BC to defend... and improve public health care. We are a small team so our work is only possible because all of you came together in the past year.

The AGM will also be a chance for organizational members to elect new and continuing Steering Committee members for 2023. The Steering Committee directs the governance and campaign priorities of our coalition so this will be a chance for you to have a say in who leads our coalition for the next year.

AGM Schedule

1pm - 2pm 2022 Annual Report, 2021 Financial Statement, and Drug Policy Report Presentations This portion of our AGM is open to all individual and organizational members. 2pm - 3:15pm Election of Steering Committee members and Co-Chairs within Community & Labour Caucus This portion of our AGM is open to only participants who represent organizational members. 3:15pm Steering Committee Meeting This portion of our AGM is open to only newly elected and continuing Steering Committee members.

The Steering Committee works with staff at the BCHC and general membership in building a province-wide movement in favour of public health care. Being part of the Steering Committee means that your organization can influence the work and play a key role in the governance and direction of the BCHC.
