Many of you signed our petition against fracking a few years ago. In 2019, we delivered over 16,000 signatures to the BC Legislature and put the spotlight on an industry that’s been operating in the shadows for decades.
Now it’s time to turn up the heat. Our allies in the movement have taken up the call to end fracking and we’re working together to build opposition to the gas industry across the province. Will you join us?
By now you may be familiar with our “escalator model” from other campaigns on old-growth, species at risk or climate solutions. It’s been successful at getting the attention of our elected representatives. So we’re launching one to get fracking on their radar.
Sign this petition to receive an email series with a new action every week to build the movement and pressure decision-makers. You’ll be invited to poster your community, contact your elected officials, write a letter to the editor of your local paper and eventually, we’ll support you to sit down with your MLA and grill them about fracking, LNG and BC’s climate plan.

With new climate disasters pummeling our communities every day, it is long past time for BC to begin limiting its production of the fossil fuels causing the problem. But it’s going to take tens of thousands of British Columbians demanding an end to fracking. And for that, we need your help.Together, we can reign in the province’s most polluting companies and focus on the real solutions to the climate crisis. Thanks for being a part of this movement.
