Hi Paov,
When Premier David Eby announced his new cabinet last month, we made sure fracking was the first thing on their radar. Our friends at Stand and Dogwood joined us outside with 18 foot banners and fracking rigs. As the BC NDP brass walked past us, we chanted “Premier Eby — End Fracking!”
We’re going to make sure he does. This was our public launch of a broad-based alliance of individuals and organizations working together to make it happen. And at the end of the month, we’ll hold our first-ever organizing call to connect folks all across the province.
Come find out how you can get involved. Our new canvass outreach coordinator, Jason, will be there to let you know about an exciting new project building the movement where we need it most. We’ll share details about the next big action coming up, and you’ll have a chance to decide how you want to organize your community! Join us on Jan. 31 at 5:30 p.m. online! Don’t worry if you can’t make this one — we’ll host these every month until the provincial government has a plan to end fracking. Together, we can take on the province’s most polluting industry and create a plan to support the workers and communities left in its wake.
