Join our next Frack Free BC organizing call
It’s been a few months since Frack Free BC crashed the BC NDP convention with a clear message: climate action means ending fracking. We rallied outside while our friends nearly passed a resolution inside. Our allies even held a party to rival the Premier’s celebration across the hall. Since then, we’ve been resting up and strategizing for the year ahead.
Now we’re ready to share our plans to put fracking on the province’s radar in the leadup to the next provincial election.
Join our next organizing call on March 13... at 5:30 PT to hear how you can help. Whether you’ve been with the Frack Free BC team since the start or you’ve been waiting to dip your toes in — now is the time to get involved.
With B.C. voters headed to the polls in the fall, it’s more important than ever that politicians are hearing from you. We’ll have plenty of opportunities to plug in this year and we’re laying the groundwork for them now. Can you join us?
Last year, the global community agreed to transition away from fossil fuels and reaffirmed efforts to limit rising temperatures to safe levels. B.C. needs a climate plan that actually aligns with those efforts. We cannot keep building liquefied natural gas terminals that lead to an explosion of new fracking wells. With your help, we’ll put the province on the right track.
Hope to see you there!
For the climate,
