Wow, what a response.

We’ve been asking people to write to their local papers about the dangerous legal attack on Canada’s public health care system that goes to trial in less than one month. Letters are already popping up in papers all over.

If you haven’t already, can you submit a letter now?

Here’s an excerpt from a letter published in the Trial Daily Times last week:

“I know our health care system has its problems and that we need to solve those to be more efficient. Doing that makes sense. Adopting a private, for-profit system like Dr. Day advocates is NOT the answer. It will create greater problems for a large part of our population.

… As citizens who care deeply we need to let our politicians and law-makers know how we feel.”[1]

These letters are a really effective way to get the word out about the serious threat this case poses to our health, communities, and economy. Until now, this case had very little coverage in the media. You can help change that - send a letter now.

We need to make sure this dangerous legal challenge is struck down so that we can get on with the work of improving a system that cares for all of us. In order to do that, we need to get the word out in our communities about this threat. Send a letter now.
