It's here! A week full of fun and informative events to profile and promote campus sustainability. Events include a talk on renewable energy, Bike to Campus Day, Love-A-Mug week, Earthfest, Dodge Ball in the Dark, and much more! The main events are listed below and get all the details here.

Join Guy Dauncey from the BC Sustainable Energy Association, with Dr. Andrew Rowe and Sahand Behboodi from UVic's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, for a lively discussion on how BC could shed its addiction to fossil fuels and transition to a 100% renewable energy economy. BIKE TO CAMPUS DAY
Oct 8th, various times and locations on campus
Celebrate the many joys of cycling to campus by stopping by the morning Celebration Station (7:30 to 9:30) at The Fountain for free coffee, breakfast treats, quick bike repairs, enter to win some great draw prizes and more! Also a FREE noon hour Cycling Skills Seminar in SUB with complimentary pizza and everyone attending getting a chance to win

"DO IT IN THE DARK" - OPEN MIC NIGHT

Do you like live music? Do you like performing onstage? If so, UVic Residence Life and Education will be hosting the second annual "Do It in The Dark" Open Mic Night. DODGE IN THE DARK: HERE WE GLOW AGAIN
Oct 9th, 5 to 8 PM, Ian Stewart Complex Gym
Vikes Nation hosts second annual dodgeball in the dark game, complete with DJ, glow tape, glow in the dark balls, and lasers. Pre-paint party will be from 5-6pm at ISC room 220 (paint and glow sticks included for free). Dodgeball games will occur from 6-8 at ISC gym.
