Sisters, Brother, and Friends,
This past Wednesday night (Dec. 2) in Vancouver a meeting was held to hear a panel of five people speaking on the recently published Naomi Klein book, This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs. the Climate. Three of those people -- Stephen Collis, Brad Hornick, and Lynne Quarmby -- had been arrested on Burnaby Mountain, so their talks and the conversation that ensued had a lot to do with the concrete experience of "capitalism vs. the climate."
You can find videos of the evening's introduction, the five speeches, and the discussion at the following link, thanks to the careful camera-work and rapid processing of Devin Gillan, who has become the recorder of all progressive actions in the lower mainland:

(Insider's opinion: the best speech is by Harsha... Walia.)
Solidarity,
Gene
