Subject: Reminder - Amnesty Film on Thursday
Dear People - Just a reminder that we are screening "I Came to Testify" this Thursday Feb 19th at 7 pm at Camosun College, Lansdowne Campus, Young Building, Room 300 (on the third floor). It is a powerful film dealing with a particular town in Bosnia that was ethnically integrated until Bosnian forces decided to use rape as part of their campaign to achieve ethnic cleansing. The survivors told their stories at the International Criminal Court and the Bosnian commander was found guilty of crimes against humanity. Thank you to Andy Chen and Camosun for Social Justice for hosting this event.
