Subject: April 28th, Victoria launch of Amnesty Report on Afghanistan

Amnesty International, Victoria chapter and Social Justice Studies UVic Present:

Corey Levine, author of Amnesty International’s report on the threats and violence experienced by Afghan women’s rights defenders. The report, Their Lives on the Line. Women Human Rights Defenders under Attack in Afghanistan had its global launch earlier today in Kabul. Ms. Levine will be giving a presentation on her research and findings of the report on April 28 at 7 pm @ Cornett B107 UVic.

Ms. Levine has extensive experience in conflict zones and is a dynamic advocate for women’s rights.
