Dear CASC
supporters,
Our
rights to free speech & assembly are threatened by this Bill. Our solidarity
action could well be interpreted or be considered as “a threat to national
security”.
Opposition to Bill C51 is building.
Following
the first successful rally to STOP BILL C51, the same
group have organized another rally for this weekend. Please attend if you
possibly can!
SATURDAY, April 18th at noon. Meet in Millie's
Lane (it is Odeon Alley on Yates between Blanchard and Douglas). From
there we
will walk to Centennial Square, but we will stop on Douglas in
front of the Bay Centre and do a sit-in. We will have sidewalk chalk and other
things because we're making a "Block" C-51 Party out of the event. After some
playing hopscotch or Harper Says instead of Simon Says, etc., we will move on to
Centennial Square where we'll have speakers, a band, petitions...Here is a link...

There is an open letter being
circulated to P.M. Harper about Bill C-51 – please read it and if you want to
sign on as an individual, here is the link:

.
In solidarity, Terry
