Unite Here Local 40 Organizer Skills Training on Saturday, May 30th!
UNITE HERE is leading the fight to organize hundreds of thousands of low-wage workers -- many of them radicalized people, immigrants, and women -- in hotels, casinos, industrial laundries, institutional cafeterias, airport concessions, and apparel manufacturing, distribution, and retail facilities throughout North America. Our union is at the forefront of battles for workers rights, immigration reform, living wages, and quality jobs in many cities throughout North America.
Join us on May 30th to hear stories from Local 40 workplace leaders, and to learn and develop your own organizing skills. We'll review and practice some of the most important necessities for folks interested in any kind of social movement organizing. If you're interested in attending the training, please contact Mike Biskar at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 206-861-6811.
Training will be 930am-230pm in Vancouver, BC.
