Global Women's Climate Justice Day of Action, September 29th #climatejustice

On September 29th, Women's Earth & Climate Network invites women throughout the world to hold local actions, which will be woven together via social media, shared images/videos, and print and digital news. This is in light of the December 2015 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) COP21, where world governments will work on a climate agreement that will have profound impacts on our global trajectory. SURJ is a national network of groups and individuals organizing white people for racial justice. Get involved on the Showing Up For Racial Justice Facebook group. Through community organizing, mobilizing, and education, SURJ moves people to act as part of a multi-racial majority for justice with passion and accountability. SURJ connects people across the country while supporting and collaborating with local and national racial justice organizing efforts. SURJ provides a space to build relationships, skills and political analysis to act for change.
