This year CAIA has an opportunity to have an information table at the Courtenay Film Festival on Saturday, February 6.
The idea would be to have 2 of our members at the table from 9am till around 5pm. If there are enough of us who could be at the table we could have a few shifts so that all of us could also see a few documentaries.

The Courtenay Film Festival has been around for many years. They show some of the best made Social Justice Documentaries. They get around 1,500 attendees each year. They have three venues where they show films and they have a bazaar area at their central location where numerous organizations are able to have tables with their information.

If there are enough of us to have a table we can organize a car pool so we can travel... together.
We would have to leave from Victoria at 7am and we would be coming back at around 9pm. If we have enough of us to have a few shifts at the table all of us can have a chance to see a few films also at the festival.

We need to let them know, very soon, if we would like for them to reserve us a a table or not.
