Just a quick note to remind you that Tomorrow at 6:30 pm, Kat Lanteigne, one of Canada's premier safe blood advocates will be speaking about a major threat to the safety of Canada's blood supply.
Lanteigne will be speaking at the Cook Street Village Activity Centre in Victoria.
A private plasma collection company wants to set up shop in BC, even though the inquiry into the tainted blood scandal of the eighties found that in order to prevent another tragedy, Canada must not allow payment for blood and plasma donations.
