Hi CASC supporters, This is an excellent & important film about a Canadian company & its actions in Canada and Latin America, particularly the precedent setting law suit against it by Guatemalans.

See this Canadian documentary film “Flin Flon Flim Flam”. in Victoria July 15 at 7 pm at Vic Theatre on Douglas S. It t.focuses on Toronto-based Hudbay Minerals’... worldwide operations in Manitoba, Guatemala, Peru and Arizona.

The issues highlighted in Dougherty’s film continue to receive national and international attention, including the far-reaching implications of criminal and civil legal proceedings occurring in both Guatemalan and Canadian courts regarding the murder of a leader of a local indigenous community in that Central American country.
