Hello all,
I am resending the email below from 2 weeks ago. To date the facebook group has only about 350 people. Needless to say we need many more to help this important opportunity for BDS in Canada further. Your assistance to promote this group is much needed. New members will appreciate this dynamic group with much discussion and excellent contributions.

As a group working for BDS in Canada we were all overjoyed to see the BDS resolution passed in August & equally disgusted and angry at how it is being attacked from the first moment. We also recognized what is at stake and what a setback it would be if it were rescinded or weakened (already extremely mild).
As of Sunday evening a facebook group went up with... the name "Support Green Party of Canada BDS Resolution". It is an open or public group and has already 49 members. With our combined efforts we can garner 1000s of members in quick order and send a real message of support.

The intention is for this facebook group to become the single & formal rallying point for "Support GPC BDS Resolution" - this is where people go for their news and developments & statements. As partners with GPC-BDS, we will use our pages, websites, newsletters, etc. as both feeders and aggregators of this group. Please use every opportunity to promote this link within all your channels (facebook, twitter, etc), links and networks.

p.s. We have about 4 weeks remaining to enroll people to the party so they are eligible to vote. Of course, it is not a blind enrollment drive but a thoughtful one looking for true GREENs to join.
