PAOV --
As COP22 delegates begin to
trickle in to Marrakech, we are counting the days until the Conference
begins. It is important as we land here, that we are not only tourists
here to enjoy the sites and sounds and smells, but also activists here
to learn about the incredibly rich culture and history of the place in
which we will be working. Over the next few days we are looking
forward to connecting with other young people in Marrakech and from
further afar to learn more about the politics and social movements
that define their day to day lives.
 We want to bring to
Morocco the stories and struggles of our own communities so that world
leaders the global community will know how climate change is impacting
our generation. This is why we have a few ways for you to stay
connected with us while we are at COP22:
We send daily reports from COP22 about what happened at the
negotiations, what creative actions took place and breakdown how what
happens at COP could impact you and other folks back home. Here is
also where we send out action alerts for ways you can participate in
COP22 actions.
Sign up to stay informed.

We
raise all the money we need to get to COP and do the important work of
holding our government accountable. We so appreciate the support of
our communities, friends (and soon to be friends).
Please consider supporting our
work by donating to the CYD here. Know a particular delegate on
this year's team?
Donate to them
personally, and meet the rest of the CYD here.

We are collecting stories from racialized immigrants,
migrants, refugees, and indigenous folks about places in your
homelands that are being impacted by climate change. These stories
will be part of an online art project at COP22. Send stories and
photos to

One of our delegates Jennifer Deol
recently published a blog on what Canada needs to do to demonstrate
climate leadership. It includes a great reflection on the CYD's main
policy positions for COP22.
