Dear Paov,
I love speaking to young people about climate change.
I often hear frustration at the lack of action and anxiety over what the future holds, but more than anything I find a dogged determination to tackle this issue.
That’s why this election season, we’re harnessing the power of millennials to put this issue to the top of people’s minds. We’re calling it #TheClimateTalk!
All across BC, young people are having an honest conversation with their loved ones about how climate change looms over their future.
They’re asking them to make it their top priority when they head to the polls on May 9.
Watch our short video of three young British Columbians having #TheClimateTalk with their parents.
Share this video or record your own, and tell everyone how it went!
So you’ve seen the video and now you’re excited to have your talk – that’s great! Maybe you could use a little advice to jog the discussion with your loved ones. Read our handy guide to approaching #TheClimateTalk.
Please forward this email or share the Facebook post with the young people in your life. And no matter what your age, consider having #TheClimateTalk with your family before they vote.
For the wild,
