NationBuilder r1 Dear Paov --

The provincial election is on Tuesday, May 9th. This election is a crucial one for public health care:
  • 700,000 people in B.C. still can’t find a family doctor.
  • We’re still the only province in the country with a flat health care tax (MSP fees).
  • Many hospitals are overcrowded because public seniors’ care services have taken a big drop.
  • B.C.’s wait times for some surgeries are among the longest in the country.

We pulled together a comparison guide of the 3 major party's positions on these and other health care issues. You can see the full election guide on our website at www.votepublichealthbc.ca/platform_evaluation

Here is the guide at-a-glance:

The guide-at-a-glance... is based on analysis of each party's platform. You can see the detailed election guide on our website.

If enough health care voters get to the polls, we can make public health care better for everyone.

The election is on Tuesday, but you can vote today (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday) in the advance polls. You can find information about where to vote on the Elections BC Website.

Thank you for taking the time to consider health care as you vote this election.

All the best,

Edith and Rick

P.s. Research shows that the best way to get folks out to vote is to show them that others are fired up and ready to vote. Please forward this email to your networks and let them know you're voting health care! You can also share the guide at a glance on facebook and twitter.
