Today is World Oceans Day PAOV!
In stories of old, if characters hoped to communicate with distant shores, they would send a message in a bottle out to sea. Nowadays, though, we can connect in a heartbeat. Using digital tools for good, we've set up an online crowdfunding network that has allowed thousands upon thousands of people like you to raise over $400,00 for Pull Together. Through online fundraising, event organizing, and involving your businesses, you're changing the story of this beautiful coast and working to protect the magnificent Salish Sea, forever. Pull Together's message — though it wasn't rolled up and corked in a bottle — has travelled all over the world, bringing hope to climate change impacted communities (and striking fear into the hearts of Kinder Morgan and its investors).
Because of people like you, alongside our partners Sierra Club BC and Force of Nature, our Pull Together campaign to stop Kinder Morgan has raised an incredible $412,000 .... and counting. Now, we need your help to get to $500k by making a donation on World Oceans Day.
