Hi Paov,
Over the past seven years you’ve written letters, joined marches, crafted banners, participated in hearings, supported legal challenges and voted for change. All of your work has led us to this point.
And does it ever feel good. Thank you for making this progress possible.

Today’s announcement that the Government of British Columbia will defend Indigenous rights in court and prevent construction from starting was met with cheers in our offices. Now it’s up to the courts to honour the decisions of the Indigenous communities who have rejected this pipeline.
With one of Canada’s top legal minds on Indigenous rights, Thomas Berger, acting as BC’s legal counsel we’ve got high hopes that the First Nations will emerge victorious.
But we’re not out of the woods yet. Kinder Morgan may have suffered a setback, but it’s unclear what the company’s next move will be.
Together we need to watch them like a hawk.
Here’s how you can help: Our KM Watch portal will post live updates as soon as we find out about any activity — construction or protests — along the pipeline route. We said we would fight Kinder Morgan at the polls, and you elected a new provincial government. We said we would fight them in the courts, and now the case is stronger than ever. We said we would fight them in the streets — and we are ready for action.
Your support brought us this far. Thank you. Let’s keep it up.
