Thanks for participating in our issue survey last week. Thanks to 233 donations from the Leadnow community, we turned the results into a full page ad in the Hill Times newspaper. Here’s what MPs saw when they opened the paper this morning:

Last week you weighed in on which issues on the fall Parliamentary agenda were most important to you. Then, hundreds of Leadnow members chipped in to get the issues in front of MPs' faces through an ad in the Hill Times, a newspaper widely read by Parliament Hill insiders.

Your ad calls on the Liberals to do three things this fall:

  1. Do even more to roll back the worst parts of Harper’s secret police bill, C51
  2. Remove toxic ISDS provisions from NAFTA, and
  3. Ensure safe, clean water for all First Nations communities

According to the Hill Times itself, these... are topics that MPs will be grappling with going into the fall sitting.[1] Thanks to you, MPs are heading back to work today with a strong message from the Leadnow community ringing in their ears. Nice work!
