DONATE Dear Paov, As we approach a new year, West Coast invites you to join us in celebrating great accomplishments for environmental law in Canada in 2017.
During the past year, we made major strides in transforming environmental decision-making and strengthening legal protection for the environment – with huge thanks to you and all of our supporters.
West Coast is proud to share that in 2017 we played a leading role in the federal government’s environmental law reviews, convinced four local governments to demand climate accountability from the fossil fuel industry, helped secure greater protections for the marine environment, and worked alongside First Nations in efforts to revitalize their Indigenous environmental laws. And these accomplishments are just the tip of the iceberg.

With so much success in our programs and campaigns in just this last year alone, we are grateful to have such an engaged network of supporters like you to share in our accomplishments. Thank you!
There’s still a lot more to do in 2018 to ensure that the environment is protected by law and that people have a say in decisions that affect them – and West Coast will continue to take on the challenge.
