Our Dinï ze' and Tsakë ze' evicted CGL - and despite an open judicial review, and despite the ultimate destruction this will cause to our sacred headwaters (and all the life it sustains in our yintah and downstream).
We want our local community to know what is happening and show that WE CARE about climate crisis, WE CARE about the salmon, WE CARE about clean drinking water and that WE CARE about Wet'suwet'en jurisdiction and sovereignty.
Everything will be impacted. Our moose, grizzly bear, and all salmon habitat. This affects everything from the birds to trees and berries. Our entire way of life is at risk. Even their test drilling will make the water undrinkable due to sediment and disrupt salmon spawning.
We cannot allow this to happen.
