The government should have heard you loud and clear: Housing is the Number One challenge in BC!
Housing came... up as the highest priority in all but one of the 28 communities that the government visited during the poverty reduction consultations.
Now they’ve opened up a dedicated consultation on rental housing to dig deeper into the issues and improve security and fairness for renters. The Rental Housing Task Force is hosting meetings in 7 more communities throughout BC and accepting email comments and submissions until July 6.
We’ve made sure that what you said about housing in the poverty reduction meetings is being sent to the Rental Housing Task Force but, if you missed those meetings or you have more to say, now’s your chance:
