25 orangutans will die today. Just like yesterday, and tomorrow.
Palm oil deforestation is killing the last orangutans on our planet, and if we don’t act now, there won’t be any left in just 10 years.
We’ve got a 2-year plan to stop this massacre, but we need your help to start now. Will you make a small monthly donation to save the orangutans from palm oil destruction?

A,
Cheap palm oil is killing the last orangutans, and unless we do everything we can now, they’ll be gone forever in less than 10 years.
Our children will live on a planet with no orangutans because of multinational brands like Pepsi, Nestlé, and Unilever, which put profit first by doing business with shady producers for the sake of cheap palm oil.
Palm oil is everywhere, from snacks to detergent and make-up.
But with the incredible support of SumOfUs members like you, we can stop this.
We have a plan to build on our past victories and save the orangutans before 2020. In the past 5 years we’ve convinced companies like McDonald’s, Starbucks, and Dunkin’ Donuts to commit no-deforestation palm oil policies.
A small monthly gift from you and thousands of other SumOfUs members will help roll out tried and true winning tactics to transform the whole industry before it’s too late. Will you please make a small monthly donation today?

Multinational corporations’ greed for cheap palm oil has decimated the rainforests where orangutans live. Every year, millions of acres of pristine rainforest are destroyed -- replaced by huge palm oil plantations.
In the last 16 years, half of Borneo’s orangutan population was wiped out. In just the last three years, a total area of forest the size of Los Angeles has been torn down.
Deprived of their natural habitat, orangutans starve. When they feed off palm fruits on plantations, they’re shot. Villagers often find dead orangutans -- just last year, an orangutan was found murdered, shot a whopping 130 times in Borneo.
A monthly donation from you, A, would allow us to plan our campaigns ahead of time, get the necessary intel, and roll out bigger tactics to compete with Nestlé, PepsiCo, and Unilever’s well-oiled, well-funded marketing machines.
With your continued support we can force the palm oil industry to adopt and enforce stronger standards to protect the rainforest and the orangutans before it's too late.

Now more than ever, we need your ongoing help to force industry giants to cut conflict palm oil off their supply chains and save the orangutans from palm oil destruction.
Campaigning to push the palm oil industry to do the right thing costs money -- whether it’s with hard-hitting ads and billboards, viral videos, commissioning research, paying for technology to mobilise hundreds of thousands of people around the world to take action, or doing stunts outside corporate headquarters around the world.
Because corporations won't change unless people like you make it impossible for them not to.
We may never have as much money as Pepsi and Nestlé, but when all of us chip in a little bit, we become powerful enough to take them on.
