This is it! Starting on Wednesday October 24, BC citizens will find referendum ballots in their mailboxes!
With your generous support now, we can do something we've never done before - that could make the difference between winning and losing proportional representation:
1) Buy the front page of the Province newspaper - and a full page inside - on Tuesday October 23
2) Put a 4 page advertisement in 39 community newspapers across interior BC on Wednesday October 24
Together, we'll reach at least 275,000 voters across BC with information about why they should vote for proportional representation - just when they need to see it most. With your generous support, we can really make it happen!

The NO side has been relentless so far, blanketing social media in the interior with lies about proportional representation and holding town halls across BC to spread misinformation and fearmongering.
From an individual who attended one of their insider meetings, we learned that in the next two weeks, we can expect them to spend hundreds of thousands of dollars in ads to mislead and frighten voters. They were urging their wealthy donors to contribute the maximum $1200.
Fair Vote Canada is a grassroots citizens campaign. We're funded only by you - citizens who care about a democracy that includes everyone.
Our volunteers in 25 local teams have been working tirelessly for months, talking to people at the door, on the streets, at the market. Putting up signs, handing out flyers, giving presentations, representing the YES side at debates. Among decided voters, the latest poll put the YES side at 52% and the NO side at 48% - but about 1/3 of voters are undecided!
In these crucial two weeks ahead, your support could make a difference.
This print advertising is the most ambitious advertising we've ever decided to do in 17 years. Frankly, it costs a lot more money than we've ever spent before.
Our design team is working around the clock this week to get these ads ready - a leap of faith that those of you who believe in a stronger democracy will come through and make it happen!
Research shows most voters will mail their ballots back within the first week - that's NEXT WEEK.
Next week, they're going to see the NO side lies everywhere they turn - about "appointed MLAs", "extremists", "experiments" and "complicated" systems.
But will they see our messages about a fairer democracy, cooperation, higher voter turnout - and a voice for all of us on the issues that affect our lives? This is our last chance to make it happen!
Together we can do it: Get our message out in 40 newspapers reaching almost every community in BC and at least 275,000 voters. With your support, we'll be that much closer to winning a stronger, fairer, more inclusive democracy for generations to come.
