PAOV — WestJet is increasing their animal transport fees by 166%. This change will directly impact Canadian animal rescue organizations and their ability to take in animals from neighbouring provinces and around the world. WestJet is changing their animal transport fees from $75 per crate in the baggage hold, to $200! That's a 166% increase.WestJet has been known for their humanitarian efforts, but this increase will not only stop Canadian rescues from helping international rescues, it will cease all the work that the international rescues can do to improve the situations for the street animals and the population control.
Please WestJet - come up with a solution that assists animal rescue groups to continue their work!
