... Fund the future: Celebrating a year defending rights and civil liberties

Dear Friends,

When we received this unprecedented year-end matching gift, I will be honest, I was floored. I was struck not only by the generosity of this donor, but by their desire to inspire others at this critical time.

Governments and political actors across our country and around the world are making life even more precarious for marginalized people. But we know that so much is possible when we fight back.

  • We won a landmark ruling in our solitary confinement case, taking a huge step forward in the fight to end this torturous practice.
  • And we prepared to defend our historic ruling on medical assistance in dying, ensuring that those who are suffering have the ability control their own lives and their own destinies.
