Happy New Year! I hope you are well.
I am writing to invite you to help shape your city by participating in a
Town Hall Meeting on the draft City Budget and Strategic Plan, happening on
Wednesday January 16 at 6:30 pm at Victoria City Hall.
This is your opportunity to have your say on issues including housing rights, strong neighbourhoods, sustainable transportation, climate action, parks and food systems, and cost-effective public services.
Since the election in the fall, I have worked hard with colleagues on City Council developing a draft budget and strategic plan aimed at moving our community in a more inclusive and sustainable direction. Now, we would like to hear your input on whether we've got it right and how the budget and plan can be improved.
Along with speaking at the Jan. 16 Town Hall, you can also provide input by
taking this online survey.
Finally, a day-long Engagement Summit on the strategic plan is taking place on
Saturday January 19 and I encourage you to consider
registering to participate.
