2 days left till the 2019 Annual General Meeting!

We’re just around the corner from BCCLA’s 2019 Annual General meeting. Make sure to RSVP to ensure that you have a seat!

This year, we will be hosting a panel discussion on the impact of policing on racialized communities with BCCLA Community Lawyer, Dylan Mazur, Andrea Glickman from UBCIC, and Lama Mugabo from the Carnegie Community Action Project.

When: Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 6:30 to 9 PM (registration, reception, and board election voting begins at 6:30 PM, AGM business begins at 7PM)

Where: Alice MacKay Room, Vancouver Public Library Central Branch, 350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 6B1

All members and members-to-be are encouraged to attend. Only members in good standing for 45 days before the AGM will be able to vote in the AGM portion of the evening.

Board of Directors Elections

Members will have the chance to vote in our Board of Directors elections electronically or in person by paper ballot. You can learn more about the candidates and read the full election notice here.

A reminder that advance electronic voting closes at 12:00 pm (noon) PDT on May 8th.

If you prefer to vote in person, you may cast a paper ballot at the AGM on May 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm PDT.
